About Peacework Belize

Peacework Belize is the Belize chapter of Peacework International, which represents a progressive initiative in the non-profit development sector that actively seeks to address the challenges of global poverty by increasing knowledge sharing and enabling the capacity to develop a more empowered and informed global citizenry.

Officially established in August 2021, Peacework Belize has quickly made its mark on the country’s development, positively impacting the lives of its people - young, mature and aging. Through effective partnership with the United States and Taiwan Embassies in Belize, Financial institutions (such as Holy Redeemer Credit Union and Belize Bank), Media Organizations, Primary and Secondary Schools, Peacework Belize has spearheaded and coordinated impactful programs such as Empowered and Resilient Women Training (Entrepreneurship), MoneySmart (Financial Literacy) and MediaSmart (Media Literacy). We have promoted other aspects of literacy, providing invaluable assistance to learning institutions, as in the upgrading and outfitting of a school library.

Playing our part in national disaster response, Peacework Belize has accessed its own funding from abroad to provide hot meals, food supplies, cleaning and personal hygiene packages, as well as house repair materials for hurricane victims, collaborating with schools, churches, women’s groups and other community organizations to reach those most in need.

We welcome you to learn and spread the good news about the essential and invaluable work of Peacework Belize as we partner with our government, our people and our international friends to assist development locally, and as we continue doing our part in addressing the global challenges affecting all humanity.

Our Services

Comprehensive Curricula

Our comprehensive curricula bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application for students and professionals alike. We design every module to be practical and engaging, ensuring that complex concepts are easy to grasp and even easier to implement. Our materials provide the knowledge and skills needed to create more productive, financially literate, and emotionally intelligent individuals.

These well-rounded programs don't just stop at the office or the school gate; they are built to improve home life as well. We recognize that personal stress often impacts professional performance, so our lessons offer tools that stabilize both environments. Whether it is managing a budget or navigating difficult conversations, our curricula empower participants to find balance and success in every part of their lives.

Expert Facilitators

The team consists of highly skilled professionals who bring deep expertise and local passion to every session. These facilitators create a supportive environment where participants feel comfortable diving into new concepts and asking tough questions. Their diverse backgrounds ensure that the training remains relevant, relatable, and impactful for every sector of society.

Bilingual and Borderless

Peacework Belize removes barriers to growth through training available in both English and Spanish. These programs reach countrywide audiences through a versatile delivery model tailored to any schedule. Options include in-person workshops, live virtual sessions, or self-paced online learning to ensure high-quality education is accessible everywhere.

Accredited Growth

Professional advancement remains a priority, especially for the educators shaping the future. These teacher training programs carry full accreditation from the MoEST, allowing participants to earn essential CPD (Continuous Professional Development) hours. Educators receive official credit while gaining practical tools to improve their classrooms and their own lives.

Lifelong Learning

This reach extends across the entire academic journey with specialized training for students from pre-school to tertiary institutions. The comprehensive curricula are adapted to be age-appropriate so that every learner—from the youngest child to the university student—gains the productivity and emotional intelligence skills needed for a successful future.

Active Learning

Every session focuses on "learning by doing" rather than just listening to a lecture. Participants engage in hands-on activities, role-playing, and interactive discussions that make the lessons stick. This dynamic approach keeps energy high and ensures that everyone leaves with practical skills they can use the very next day.

Personal Financial Counseling

One-on-one financial counseling sessions provide a private space to navigate unique economic challenges. These personalized meetings offer the specific guidance needed to manage debt, build savings, and reduce the money-related stress that often impacts work performance and home life.

Inclusive and Impactful

These services stand out because they are tailor-made for every level of society across the public and private sectors. This multi-generational approach provides a lifestyle shift rather than just a simple lecture. Equipping everyone from students to senior executives with these tools creates a ripple effect of stability that strengthens both the Belizean workforce and the families behind them.
